Instructions

Step 1
1. Chop the onion, garlic and parsley really fine then add it to the ground beef
Step 2
2. Then add the pepper paste, the seasonings salt, paprika, cumin, coriander, black pepper, chili flakes and cinnamon to the ground beef and mix everything together. form the meat into about 1 inch balls or what ever size you want
Step 3
3. Put a pan on high heat then add olive oil wait for the oil to get hot then put in all the kofta balls and sear them lightly on all sides then remove them from the pan
Step 4
4. To that same pen add in the diced onion and potatoes and cook the potatoes and onion together for about five minutes
Step 5
5. Then add in the tomatoes and the tomato paste mix everything really well
Step 6
6. Put the kofta balls back into the pan then add the 4 cups of water, the 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper give it another good mix, cover and let it cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes Until the potatoes are cooked and the stew thickens up and enjoy it with some rice.
