Instructions

Step 1
Over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter in a medium pot

Stir in tumeric until combined

Stir in rice, water and a big pinch of salt and pepper

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a low simmer and cover. Simmer for 15-18 minutes

Wash and dry produce

In a small bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Add water - 1 teaspoon at a time until consistency reaches a drizzle.

In a large pan, heat a drizzle of oil over medium-high heat.

Add scallion white cooking until fragrant

Fluff rice - stirring in almonds, half the scallion greens, and salt and pepper to taste

Toast pitas. Spread with butter and cut into wedges

Portion rice and top with separate sections of cucumbers and turkey.

Sprinkle cucumber with pinch of salt

Drizzle turkey with hot sauce

Drizzle white sauce over entire dish and garnish with remaining scallions
