If you want a mocha flavor dissolve 2 teaspoons instant coffee in 2 tablespoons of hot water and let it come to room temperature. This recipe works best with a high quality blender. 1. Remove the pits from 2 dates and soften them in hot water. Discard the water if you’re not using the instant coffee. I add them to the coffee water when making a mocha flavor. 2. In the blender combine the dates, almond milk, cocoa powder, pumpkin, and optional coffee. Blend until dates are liquified. 3. Add 2 cups crushed ice and blend to a smooth consistency. 4. Enjoy!
