Fried Cabbage Dumplings and Kielbasa

Instructions

Step 1
Chop cabbage into large chunks and steam until clear in color; drain
Step 2
Brown Kielbasa, set aside.
Step 3
In same pan melt butter, sauté onions, add seasonings and cabbage.
Step 4
DUMPLINGS: Measure flour in to a deep bowl. Make well in middle of flour. Add seasonings.
Step 5
Gradually mix water into flour, to make a stiff dough.
Step 6
If they seem too dry, add more water. Drop about 1/4 tsp into boiling water. Best if spoon dipped into hot water after each dumpling - they will come off the spoon easier. Dumplings are done when they float to the top.
Step 7
Remove dumplings directly to cabbage mixture, combine, heat thoroughly and enjoy.
