Instructions

Step 1
Fry the bacon until cooked throughly. Once done, place on paper towel to drain. Reserve bacon grease.
Step 2
While the bacon is cooking. Break up the head of lettuce and place in a large bowl along with the diced onion.
Step 3
For the dressing, mix the beaten egg with the vinegar and sugar.
Step 4
Once bacon is cooked throughly, remove from pan and set aside to cool.
Step 5
Add the dressing mixture to the hot bacon grease and whisk until the dressing thickens. About 1 minute.
Step 6
Crumble the bacon into pieces.
Step 7
Pour the dressing over the salad, add the bacon crumble and mix well.
