Ingredients

2 lbsground beef
1white onion
4cloves of garlic
2 teaspoonssalt
2 teaspoonssugar
2 teaspoonsdried oregano leaves
1 ยฝ teaspoondried basil leaves
1 teaspoondried marjoram leaves
ยฝ teaspoondried rosemary leaves
thyme
2bay leaves
2 x 15 ozcans tomato sauce
2 x 6 ozcans tomato paste
2 cupswater
noodles
of your choice
Instructions
Step 1
dice the onions and garlic, set them aside, do not mix them
Step 2
pour some oil in the bottom of a large pot and cook the onions until they start to turn translucent
Step 3
add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds
Step 4
add the beef and cook until brown, drain if needed
Step 5
add the water, tomato paste, and tomato sauce, then stir until thoroughly combined
Step 6
add the spices (except the bay leaves) and stir
Step 7
heat until boiling
Step 8
reduce heat to low, stir, add the bay leaves, cover, and simmer for 2 hours
Step 9
cook noodles of your choice and serve with some sauce. I recommend eating with garlic bread.
