Instructions
Step 1
Sprinkle each sausage evenly with salt and nutmeg. Refrigerate for at least 15m
Step 2
Wash each bell pepper and dice, discarding the flesh and seeds. Season with a pinch of salt and paprika, combine and set aside.
Step 3
Heat a frying pan on medium heat and add oil. When oil is hot, add sausage and sear for a minute.
Step 4
Add peppers to pan, sautee for 3 minutes. Turn heat to low and cover for 5 minutes
Step 5
Fill a pot with water, salt and bring to a boil. Add pasta and stir occasionally. Cook for 7 minutes, drain and return to pot. Drizzle with oil and cover.
Step 6
Uncover pan and remove sausages, cut into 1-inch thick slices and return to pan. Add garlic, butter, stir. Simmer for 2 min before combining with pasta and toss
Step 7
Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and toss again. Finish with a light squeeze of lemon juice and plate, garnished with fresh parsley.
