Step 1
Combine all dry ingredients in a lidded container, shake to mix
Step 2
In another small bowl, melt the butter and let it cool a little until is it warm. Once cooled, add the egg yolks and whisk until melted.
Step 3
Pour the butter and egg yolk mixture into the buttermilk and egg white mixture and whisk together until thoroughly combined.
Step 4
Pour the liquid ingredients on top of the dry pancake mix. Using a spatula, mix the batter just enough to bring it together. Only mix until there is no more visible flour. Add water if the mixture is too thick.
Step 5
let is rest for a few minutes, until it starts bubbling a little (around 5 mins)
Step 6
Heat an electric griddle or frying pan to 350 degrees F.
