Instructions
Step 1
Cut the bread slices into strips and set aside
Step 2
whisk together the eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla
Step 3
dip both sides of each strip of bread into the mixture. be careful not to let them sit in the mixture or they will soak up the entire mixture before you coat all your strips
Step 4
melt the butter in a pan on med-low heat
Step 5
place in the sticks and let them cook until golden crispy on one side, them flip and do the same for the other side
Step 6
serve with whatever toppings you want. I recommend powdered sugar and syrup
