Heat cast iron skillet over low-med heat. Brush tilapia with olive oil. Sprinkle with apple butter seasoning. Baste pan with olive oil. Add tilapia to pan. Add a couple of drops of liquid smoke and cover with lid. Allow to sir and brown for 3-4 minutes. Turn over and continue cooking until done. Just before serving, sprinkle with optional Basil. Arrange braised cabbage leaves on plate as bed for the fish. Lay tilapia on cabbage bed before garnishing with colorful fruits (in this case, golden berries and dried cranberries).
