Ingredients

2 tablespoonsextra-virgin olive oil
4 poundschicken breasts and thighs
rinsed and patted dry
Salt
pepper
20 ozcondensed golden mushroom soup
2 teaspoonsItalian seasoning
1.5 ouncefour-cheese sauce mix
packet
10 ouncesmushrooms
sliced
8 ozfrozen artichoke hearts
1 cupfrozen chopped onions
1red bell pepper
medium, finely chopped
Instructions
Step 1
1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper to taste. Working in batches, brown chicken on both sides in skillet. Transfer to plate and set aside.
Step 2
2. In a medium bowl, combine soup, Italian seasoning, and cheese sauce mix. Set aside.
Step 3
3. Combine mushrooms, artichoke hearts, onions, and bell pepper in a 4- or 5-quart slow cooker. Add browned chicken and any accumulated juices. Pour soup mixture over chicken.
Step 4
4. Cover and cook on high-heat setting for 3 to 4 hours or low-heat setting for 7 to 8 hours.
