Ingredients

1 poundlean ground beef
1green bell pepper
medium, chopped
1onion
medium, chopped
2stalks celery
sliced
2 x 15 ouncecans dark red kidney beans
drained and rinsed
28 ouncecan crushed tomatoes
0.5 headcabbage
shredded
2 cupsbeef broth
2 cupswater
1 tablespoonworcestershire sauce
2cubes beef bouillon
2cloves garlic
minced
salt
to taste
Instructions
Step 1
Crumble ground beef into a large soup pot; cook and stir over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly, about 5 minutes. Drain grease. Add bell pepper, onion, and celery. Cook and stir for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Increase heat to high. Add kidney beans, tomatoes, cabbage, beef broth, water, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon, and garlic; stir to combine. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Ladle soup into bowls and season with salt.
