Instructions
Step 1
In a large soup pot, brown sausage meat. Once browned, drain excess grease and set meat aside
Step 2
Dice carrots, celery, zucchini, garlic, and onion and saute together in the soup pot till tender
Step 3
Readd sausage and add remaining ingredients to the pot and bring to a boil
Step 4
Season soup to liking
Step 5
Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes or until the lentils are tender
Step 6
Once ready, take pot off heat and serve
