Instructions
Step 1
Add a little baking soda to water then soak the lemons for five minutes . Wash them off then dry them

Cut the end off the lemons then
Cut into slices . Layer them in a bowl and sprinkle the sugar all over them then stir with a spoon until the juices start to come out and the sugar is dissolving and syrupy

Step 3
Layer the lemons and sugar in a clean sterilized jar then pop the lid on and turn them upside down for a few minutes . Give it a good shake then store in a cool dry place . Shake once a day for three days to dissolve the sugar and after three days the syrup is ready to be used
