Instructions

Step 1
Rinse and sort 1 cup dried black lentils.
Step 2
Add lentils and spices (save salt for later) to instant pot with 2 cups water, or broth.
Step 3
Cook on high pressure for 6-7 minutes. Natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then quick release.
Step 4
Stir, remove bay leaves, and serve.
