Taco Fries (Bolognese Fries)

Fries are nice.๐ But when they are leftover, they're stale and dry.๐ Whats that? You're not a fan of wasting food? I got you! Try this leftover fries reviving recipe. It turns your fries from stale and dry, to moist and absolutely delicious!

450gMince meat
I used beef

Bolognese Sauce
or any other, eg taco sauce

1onion

Veggies
for flavour
E.g. Peppers, carrots, mushrooms, spinach

Step 1

Get a casserole dish or a wide deep dish. Spread the fries along the bottom.


Step 2
Preheat the oven to 220ยฐC/200ยฐC Fan.

Step 3
Start making the Bolognese. Put butter or oil onto a heated frying pan and add the onion until lightly browned. Mix occasionally.




Step 4
Next, add any vegetables that you are using. (NOTE: ALWAYS ADD SPINACH VERY LAST, AFTER MEAT AND SAUCES)

Step 5
Once the veggies are soft or cooked to your liking, go ahead and add the mince meat to the frying pan. Add in seasonings. Fry until all is fully browned and cooked throughout.








Step 6

Now, IF YOU ARE USING TACO SAUCE, you can apply as follows.. Add cooked mince meat onto fries, and pour sauce on top.









Step 7

IF FRIES ARE STALE, MIX ALL TOGETHER. If fresh, do as you like. I used Bolognese Sauce so I mixed it with the mince meat first, then all together in the casserole dish.

Add as much cheese as you wish ๐

Step 9

Place the dish into the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Add another 5 minutes if needed. (NOTE: It should be bubbling, and the cheese should be melted)

Step 10
