This a simple sauce that is quick and easy to make. It is easily stored in a jar, so you can make it ahead of time and keep in refrigerator for up to a week prior to using.

Step 1
Sauté onion, garlic and vegetables in oil. Add spices, honey and water.
Step 2
In a blender puree all ingredients and water together. I use a ninja, which is too small to do all at once, so I blend in batches, adding to the saucepan as I go.
Step 3
Simmer in pan for 5-10 min.
