Instructions
Caramelized Onions
Step 1
- Cook onions over medium-high heat until all water has evaporated and they begin to brown/stick to pan (Do not add any salt)
Step 2
- Deglaze with ~4oz of beef bone broth at a time, stir and boil until liquid is completely reduced, and repeat until you’ve fully reduced 16oz of bone broth into the onions
Step 3
- Add a splash of soy sauce for extra flavor + color
Beef
Step 4
- Take onions out of pan and add the ground beef with seasonings
Step 5
- Cook the beef until lightly browned
Step 6
- Add the diced tomatoes, cheese and caramelized onion on low heat until just combined
Burger Sauce
Step 7
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Use milk or water to loosen if too thick.
Burrito Assembly
Step 8
- Place meat mixture in fridge for 20 minutes to thicken the mixture and help make rolling easier
Step 9
- Lay tortilla flat and add some burger sauce. Take the total weight, divide by 14, and put each amount into a burrito. Roll.
Reheat
Step 10
- remove from freezer, wrap in a paper towel, microwave for 2 minutes to defrost, then air fry at 375 for 6-8 minutes to crisp up your tortilla
