Instructions
Step 1
Cream together 1 cup butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar
Step 2
Add 2 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla
Step 3
In another bowl, combine 2 3/4 cups flour, 2 tsps cream of tartar, 1 tsp baking soda and 1 tsp salt
Step 4
Combine wet and dry mixture
Step 5
Refridgerate 30 minutes
Step 6
Preheat oven to 350
Step 7
Roll dough into balls
FOR SUGAR COOKIES: roll in sugar and put aside
FOR SNICKERDOODLES: roll in nutmeg cinnamon sugar mixture and put aside
Step 8
Bake 12 minutes
