Country Style French Toast with Armaretto Whipped Cream and Strawberries

Delicious twist on French Toast. Adds in a real country homecooked breakfast. Sweet Mixed with the bitter from the Strawberries and creamy smooth flavor of amaretto whipped cream is an explosion of flavor!

Ingredients

Amaretto Whipped Cream
8 ozmascarpone cheese
1 cupheavy whipping cream
¼ cuppowdered sugar
1 teaspoonvanilla extract
3 ozAmaretto
or to taste
French Toast Bread Batter
White Bread
Cheap
1 cupflour
2 Tbspsugar
1 tspcinnamon
1 tspbaking powder
½ tspbaking soda
¼ tspsalt
1 cupbuttermilk
substitute 1 cup milk and 1 tbsp Lemon juice - let sit for 5 minutes
1egg
large
2 Tbspvegetable oil
1 tspvanilla
French Toast Dip
Instructions
Step 1
Make Whipped Cream by combining all ingredients in metal bowl. Mix on highest speed until stiff peaks form. Set in fridge.
Step 2
Chop Strawberries to desired size and set aside.
Step 3
Make Batter by combining all the dry ingredients in large mixing bowl.
Step 4
Add all the wet ingredients in smaller bowl and whisk slight to beat the egg.
Step 5
Heat skillet on medium high heat.
Step 6
Once hot add 1 tbsp Butter or oil to pan. Dip the white bread into the batter mix and cook until golden brown. Flip and repeat.
Step 7
Cook the additional 8-9 piece of bread and set aside.
Step 8
Beat the 5 eggs with milk, cinnamon and amaretto
Step 9
Quickly dip cooked battered bread into egg mixture and place back into the frying pan
Step 10
Cook flipping once until egg is fully cooked and bread is not soggy
Step 11
Serve by Topping generously with Strawberries and Amaretto Whipped Cream. Enjoy!
