Instructions
Step 1
1. Wash beans and soak them overnight.
Step 2
2. Heat oil over med heat and whisk in flour. Cook until light brown in color.
Step 3
3. Add in Guidry’s and garlic, cook until soft.
Step 4
4. Add in beans and chicken stock
Step 5
5. Stir seasonings, ham bouillon, and Tasso and sausage
Step 6
6. Simmer for 3-4 hours until beans are tender. Add liquid as needed and taste for seasoning .
Step 7
8. Add in shrimp, green onion and cook 15 more minutes.
Step 8
9. Serve over rice
