Instructions
Step 1
Season the chicken with salt and pepper, and coat the chicken with a thin layer of cornstarch on both sides.
Step 2
In a pan, drizzle in oil and turn the heat to medium-high. Once the pan is hot, add the chicken, skin side facing down.
Step 3
Pan-fry the chicken for 4 minutes on each side or until crispy and golden brown.
Step 4
Mix the sauce ingredients
Step 5
Take chicken out of pan to rest. Then add sauce to pan. You'll need to lower the heat. Let the sauce reduce for 2 mins.
Step 6
Add chicken back in and then let it soak up all the sauce
Step 7
Serve with rice and other accompaniments
