Instructions
Step 1
spray 9 x 13 casserole with Pam
Step 2
spread about 1/2 jar marinara in bottom of casserole
Step 3
Bring large pot of salted water to boil. Add jumbo shells and cook for 9 minutes. Remove, drain, and allow to cool.
Step 4
Season italian sausage with italian seasoning and cook, drain and crumble
Step 5
While sausage is cooking, steam spinach in 1 cup of water for 3-4 minutes. Removed and drain excess water.
Step 6
Whisk egg. Add mozzarella and parmesan cheese and mix.
Step 7
Add egg and cheese mixture and spinach to the sausage and mix well.
Step 8
Stuff cooled jumbo shells and place in casserole dish. Top with additional marinara and italian blend cheese.
Step 9
Cover with foil and bake in 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove foil and put back in oven for add'l 10 minutes.
