Ingredients
2 servings
10 ozground pork
0.5 lbUdon Noodles
1 Tbspsweet white miso paste
1 Tbspsoy sauce
2 tspshoney
4 ozsnow peas
1 tspblack & white sesame seeds
⅓ cupEast Asian-Style Sautéed Aromatics
1 Tbsptogarashi seasoning
sweet paprika, hot paprika, dried orange peel, poppy seeds, white sesame seeds & black sesame seeds
1 Tbsprice vinegar
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the noodles from the refrigerator to bring to room temperature. Wash and dry the snow peas. In a bowl, combine the miso paste, soy sauce, vinegar, honey, and 1/2 cup of water. If desired, remove the tough strings from the snow peas.
Step 2
In a large pan (nonstick, if you have one), heat the sautéed aromatics on medium-high until hot. Add the pork and togarashi; season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring frequently and breaking the meat apart with a spoon, 6 to 7 minutes, or until lightly browned. Add the snow peas; season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, 1 to 2 minutes, or until browned and the pork is cooked through.
Step 3
Using your hands, carefully separate the noodles. To the pan, add the noodles and sauce (carefully, as the liquid may splatter); season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, 2 to 3 minutes, or until thoroughly combined and the noodles are heated through. Turn off the heat. Serve the finished noodles garnished with the sesame seeds. Enjoy!
