My take on a classic Pot Roast

Season Roast and set aside. Peel, & chop carrots, and potatoes. Then add them to a medium bowl and add any leftover seasoning mix. Set aside

Sear roast on high heat, ensuring a nice crust on all sides. Carefully, add the roast and potato mixture to the Crockpot.

In the same pan you used to sear the roast saute half a diced onion, and a chopped clove of garlic in a tablespoon of butter, and then add to Crockpot.
