Instructions
Step 1
Cut the chicken into strips. Mix the five spice, tamarind, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice and wine or water in a bowl. Add chicken strips and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2
Heat a wok or frying pan and dry roast the cashew nuts. Set aside.
Step 3
Add olive oil to pan and when hot add chicken strips (remove from marinade with a slotted spoon). Stir fry for about 5 mins.
Step 4
Add marinade, broccoli and spring onion and fry for another five minutes, adding water if it starts to stick. Stir in cashews and serve.
