Ingredients
40 servings
15 oztomato sauce
6 ozcan tomato paste
⅓ capple cider vinegar
¼ cmaple syrup
¼ cmolasses
2 Tbspworcestershire sauce
2 tspsmoked paprika
1 tspmustard powder
1 tspgarlic powder
1 tspcumin
1 tspcoriander
½ tspkosher salt
½ tspblack pepper
⅛ tspcayenne pepper
or more to taste
2 tspliquid smoke
or more to taste
0.25 Cbourbon
optional
Instructions
Step 1
Cook bourbon until it's reduced by approximately half
Step 2
Add all ingredients to the pot with the bourbon and mix well
Step 3
Cook over medium heat until it reduces slightly and thickens. Approximately 15-20 minutes. Look out for splatters!
Step 4
Pour into sterilized jars and allow to cool. When cool refrigerate for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
