5 lbsbeetroots

1 ½ cupsugar

2 cupswater

3 cupswhite vinegar

1 teaspoonsalt
1 tablespoonmarinade spices

2 teaspoonswhole clove
Instructions
Step 1
Cook beetroots, slice then and place in mason jars.


Step 2
In a saucepan, add vinegar, sugar, salt





Step 3
Wrap the marinade spices, whole cloves in a cheese cloth and add to saucepan
Step 4
Boil slowly for 5 minutes
Step 5
Pour the hot vinegar mixture on top of the cooked, sliced beetroots in the mason jars
Step 6
Close the kids while the vinegar is still hot
