Instructions

Sushi Rice

Step 1
Wash the sushi rice until the drained water runs clear.
Step 2
Then prepare the sushi rice according to the packet instructions.
Step 3
As soon as the rice is ready, transfer it to a flat plate and leave to cool for approx. 30 mins.

Prawn Topping

Step 4
Finely chop the garlic and slice the spring onion. Separate the upper green part from the lower white part.
Step 5
Heat the sesame oil in a pan. Set the heat to medium-high and add the white part of the spring onion to the pan. Fry for approx. 2 mins.
Step 6
Now add the garlic and fry for a further 30 seconds.
Step 7
Now add the prawns and spices and fry for approx. 2 mins. until rosy.
Step 8
Chop the prawns into small pieces.
Step 9
Place the remaining ingredients in a bowl with the prawns and mix everything together.

Avocado Topping

Step 10
Mash the avocado with a fork.
Step 11
Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together.

Crispy rice

Step 12
Moisten your hands with a little cold water. Take some rice in your hand and squeeze it firmly. Then form a square. This should not be too thin, otherwise it may fall apart more easily when frying. Do the same with the rest of the rice.

Heat the sesame oil in a pan. Set the heat to medium-high. Place the rice patties in the pan and fry them on both sides for approx. 3-5 mins until they are crispy and golden brown.

Top the rice patties first with the avocado cream and then the prawn sauce.
Step 15
Finally, sprinkle the sesame seeds over all the rice bites. Enjoy!
