Step 1
Soak the dates in a 2 dL of water for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2
Blend the soaked dates until smooth.
Step 3
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl: ground almonds, carob flour, cacao powder, and then add blended dates and orange zest Mix well until a sticky dough forms.
Step 4
Shape the mixture into 12 balls.
Step 5
Store the energy balls in the refrigerator
