A super simple sheppard/cottage pie that is great for the whole family.

Step 2
Peel and cut potatoes into small cubes and put to boil.
Step 3
Pour oil into hot pan and add diced onions. Sautee for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant and translucent.
Step 4
Add the ground beef and break up into small pieces.
Step 5
Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6
Add the garlic and continue stirring
Step 7
Add the veggies and let cook for 5 minutes on low
Step 8
Mash the potatoes, adding butter and milk to taste.
Step 9
Layer in a casserole dish (oven safe) ground beef and veggies and then top with Mashed potatoes. Put in oven on middle rack for 15-30 minutes, or until Mashed potatoes start getting a light brown colour.
Step 10
Let stand for a few minutes and serve. Enjoy!
