Spicy air fryer chicken wings and fries

Spicy chicken wings or any chicken pieces in an air fryer with some chips. Easy and cheap. Feel free to cook the wings in a normal oven if you want the chips and wings to be cooked at the same time.

Step 1
Mix the spices and herbs together. Take a teaspoon or 2 of the spice mix out and keep it separate for later for the chips

garlic powder1 tsp
Step 2
Rub a little vegetable oil onto the wings and coat with the spice, keeping some aside for the chips. let marinade for at least an hour.

Step 3
Cut potatoes into whatever chips style you want and bring to the boil on the stove in a pot of water. Once at a boil, remove from the stove and drain.
Step 4
Place chips on an open tray and air dry. Pat dry with paper towel if need be.
Step 5
Air fry the wings at 180C (350F) for 20 minutes shaking the basket around every 5 to 7 minutes to ensure even cooking
Step 6
Coat the chips in a little vegetable oil and air fry at 200C (390F) for 20 minutes tossing the chips half way through

While the chips are cooking, coat the chicken wings in the hot sauce and let marinade while the chips finish cooking.

Remove the chips and coat with the left over spice.
Step 9
Put the chicken wings back in for 3 minutes at 200C (390F) to darken in color and set the host sauce
