Instructions

Step 1
Place the dried gosari in a bowl and cover with warm water. Soak for about 10 hours. (Tip: Change the water once or twice during soaking to reduce the strong smell.)
Step 2
Drain the soaked gosari, then boil it in water for about 20 minutes. (Tip: Check if it's tender and adjust the boiling time depending on the thickness of the gosari.)
Step 3
Rinse the boiled gosari in cold water, squeeze out the excess moisture, and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Remove any tough ends.
Step 4
In a pan, add the gosari, 1 tablespoon of perilla oil (or sesame oil), 1/2 tablespoon of cooking oil, 1 teaspoon of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of soup soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of chopped green onions. Mix everything together well.
Step 5
Stir-fry over medium-low heat. (Tip: If it becomes too dry, add a little kelp water for extra moisture and flavor.)
Step 6
When done, sprinkle 1 tablespoon of ground sesame seeds and mix well. Your flavorful gosari side dish is ready!
