Instructions

Step 1
Cook the rigatoni. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook, breaking it up into small pieces, until browned and cooked through. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth, bringing to a simmer. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce starts to thicken.
Step 4
Gradually stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
Step 5
Add the sausage back into the skillet with the alfredo sauce. Stir to combine. Toss in the cooked rigatoni, making sure the pasta is well coated in the creamy sauce.
