Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9 x 5 x 3” bread baking pan. Cream butter and sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beat well. Sift all purpose flour baking soda, baking powder, salt together, add whole wheat flour, wheat bran and mix well. Add to creamed mixture, mix well. Fold in bananas, walnuts (and optional chocolate chips). Pour batter into pan, or scoop out into muffin cups with an ice cream scoop. Bake 50 to 60 minutes for a cake or 25 - 30 minutes for muffins. Poke with a with a toothpick, if it comes out clean, it’s done. Enjoy!
