Instructions

Step 1
In a large skillet heat oil to medium heat. Add the thinly sliced onions and sauté until golden and caramelized. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Step 2
Season chicken, add to skillet and cook 5-7 mins on each side until thoroughly cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Step 3
Add rice to the skillet and lightly toast. Add chicken broth, herbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
Step 4
Add the caramelized onions and chicken back to the skillet. Bring to a simmer, reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until the rice is cooked.
Step 5
Once rice is cooked, add cheese. Cover skillet until cheese is melted.
