Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
Step 2
Prepare crescent rolls: Unroll one package of crescent rolls and press them into the bottom of the greased pan, pinching the seams together to seal.
Step 3
Make cheese filling: In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg together until smooth and creamy.
Step 4
Assemble the Danish: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer. Unroll the second package of crescent rolls and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture. Brush the top layer with the egg white for a glossy finish.
Step 5
Bake: Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
Step 6
Make glaze: While the Danish is cooling, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze.
Step 7
Glaze and serve: Let the Danish cool for about 20 minutes before drizzling with the glaze. Serve warm or at room temperature.
