Instructions
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla. In small batches, add flour, baking powder and salt. Cover and chill dough either for an hour or overnight (can even freeze for later use). Preheat to 400°. Roll dough and cut into shapes. Bake 5-7 min and cool completely before frosting.
Step 2
FOR THE FROSTING:
Step 3
2 cups powdered sugar. 2-4 Tbsp. Milk (start with 2, add more for consistency). 1 Tbsp either honey or light corn syrup, and 1 tsp. Vanilla. Mix together until you get the right thickness for spreading. Add milk/powdered sugar as needed. You'll want it to be thick so it doesn't drip off the cookie. Divide into bowls and add food coloring.
