Instructions
Step 1
Mix 4 tbsp yogurt, chilli powder, turmeric, salt and 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and marinate the goat

Let marinade sit for at least 2 hours or overnight
For the biryani
Step 3
Blend coriander and green chillis and set aside
Step 4
Set Instapot to Saute mode and add ghee once hot
Step 5
Add cinnamon to the oil and saute until fragrant
Step 6
Add the onions and add remaining 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste once translucent
Step 7
Keep sauteing the onions until its caramelized
Step 8
Start presoaking the rice
Step 9
Add tomatoes to the mix and keep sauteing
Step 10
Add the cilantro-green chilli paste and keep sauteing
Step 11
Add the yogurt and the chopped mint leaves and cook for a bit
Step 12
Add goat and cook for a bit
Step 13
Set instant pot to high pressure mode and cook for 13m
Step 14
Natural release the pressure for 10m and then open the lid
Step 15
Check salt and add if necessary
Step 16
Squeeze half a lemon into the mixture and stir it around
Step 17
Add pre-soaked rice
Step 18
Adjust water for the rice - remove/add as needed for the quantity
Step 19
Pressure cook for 6m and then do a natural release for 10m
