For the Steak
560gLean Steak
1 tspsalt
1 tsppepper
1 tspgarlic granules
1 Tbspolive oil
60glight butter
2shallots
medium
6garlic cloves
300gtenderstem broccoli
½ tspworcestershire sauce
parsley
freshly chopped
For the Mash
Instructions
Step 1
Start by peeling and slicing your white potato into large pieces and adding into a saucepan of cold water.
Step 2
Bring to a boil and simmer for approx 10 mins until fork tender.
Step 3
In the mean time, slice your lean steak into bite size chunks and place into a bowl with the salt, pepper and garlic granules and mix until combined.
Step 4
• Drizzle 1/2 tbsp of olive oil into a hot frying pan and add in the steak.
Step 5
Let it crisp up one one side before moving and flipping over to the other side. Fry for 1-2 mins each side so it's a nice medium rare on the inside and once done set aside on a plate for later.

In the mean time, boil or steam your tenderstem broccoli for 3-4 mins.

Set the heat to low and add in another 1/2 tbsp more olive oil and the light butter. Once melted and mixed, add in the diced shallot and garlic and fry for a few mins.
Step 9
In the mean time, drain the cooked potatoes and then add in the light butter, milk, salt, and pepper and mash all together.
Step 10
Then add in the Worcestershire sauce, a handful of freshly chopped parsley and the steak bites with all of the meat juices into the pan and stir for one minute before removing from the heat.
Step 11
Serve into your equal portions, starting with a bed of mashed potato and then the steak bites. Then add on the tenderstem broccoli before finally drizzling over the garlic buttery shallot sauce remaining in the pan over each portion.
