Chicken Marinade

600gchicken fillets

60mlolive oil

1juice of lemon

3cloves of garlic
minced

2 tspdried oregano

1 tsppaprika

½ tspground cumin

salt

Tzatziki

250mlgreek yogurt

0.5cucumber
grated and drained

1 clovesgarlic
minced

1 Tbspfresh dill
chopped

1 Tbsplemon juice

1 Tbspolive oil

Instructions
Marinade chicken
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt and pepper. Add chicken and coat well. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.









Make Tzatziki
Step 2
In a bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, dill, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to allow flavors to develop.








Cook Chicken
Step 3
Heat a large skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F). Let rest for 5 minutes, then cut into strips.

Assemble Gyros
Step 4
Spread a generous amount of tzatziki onto each warm pita. Top with sliced chicken, cherry tomatoes, shredded lettuce, red onion and feta, if desired.






Serve
Step 5
Fold pita around filling and serve immediately. Enjoy this refreshing and flavorful dish!
