Instructions

Step 1
1 Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook 1 minute less than package directions, or until just under al dente, stirring occasionally. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
2 Meanwhile, heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, stirring occasionally, about 30 seconds.
Step 3
3 Add sun-dried tomatoes and ¾ cup broth and stir to combine. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 4
4 Add cream and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until reduced, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Transfer sauce out of pan and set aside.
Step 6
Rub salt and pepper on both sides of chicken.
Step 7
6 Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and sear until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Step 8
Transfer out of pan, slice and set aside.
Step 9
7 Add ¼ cup broth to the same pan and bring to a boil.
Step 10
8 Add cream sauce and basil and stir to combine.
Step 11
9 To serve, toss pasta with cream sauce and top with sliced chicken.
