Instructions

Step 1
Prepare the pasta: Bring a big pot of water that has been salted to a boil. After adding the pasta, cook it as directed on the package until it's al dente. After draining, set away.
Step 2
As the pasta cooks: Prepare the chicken by seasoning the breasts with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C), 5 to 6 minutes per side. After taking the chicken out of the skillet and allowing it to rest for five minutes, cut it into strips.
Step 3
To prepare the sauce: Put the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil in the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and lower the heat to medium. Sauté until aromatic, 1 to 2 minutes. To deglaze the pan and scrape away any browned pieces, add the chicken broth. Add the red pepper flakes (if using), heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the sauce is smooth and the cheese has melted.
Step 4
Mix Everything: Put the chicken slices and cooked pasta in the skillet. Mix everything together until the creamy sauce coats the pasta and chicken. To fully heat, cook for a further two to three minutes.
Step 5
Garnish and serve: By adding more Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, if preferred. Serve right away and savour!
