Instructions
Step 1
start by wrapping each of your chipolata sausages in a rasher of streaky bacon. Start at one end and roll so they are neatly all covered. Make sure to wrap the bacon tightly around the sausage as the sausage will shrink when cooked. Nobody want’s a loose blanket around their pigs!
Step 2
Then mix into a bowl the runny honey and Dijon mustard to make a glaze. Next brush the glaze over each one, so they are each covered in the honey and mustard mix. Then place them in a single layer directly in the bottom of the air fryer basket. Leave the crisper trays and make sure the sausages don’t overlap or touch each other. This ensures that they cook evenly
Step 3
Cook your sausages on 180c for about 15 to 20 minutes. Turn them over half way through cooking so they are crispy all over. Making sure the sausages are cooked throughout before serving. If using smaller sausages, they will probably take less time to cook. When turning halfway, if you have some glaze left, brush the rest over the sausages too.
Step 4
Carefully remove your sausages from the air fryer basket and sprinkle over some fresh rosemary or thyme.
