Rosa's Pork Belly Fried Rice
Ingredients
- One bowl steamed rice ( any rice works : white rice is the best)
- 1/4 of finely diced onions
- 1 cup of finely chopped kimchi
- 1 spoon of gochujang
- 1/3 spoon of oyster sauce
- 3 pinch of sugar
- Kimchi flakes or chill flakes/powder
- a dash of soy sauce
- any kind of oil ( olive oil, canolia oil?, avocado oil works but taste a bit weird)
- sesame oil
step
- Put diced kimchi, gochujang, oyster sauce, sugar, chill flakes/powder into a bowl and mix until finely combined. ( set it aside)
- Dice the onions.
- Grill the pork belly in a pan
- remove the pork belly once all cooked
- using the same pan, put a round of oil and sautee the onions. ( medium heat)
- once the onion is transparent and a bit brownish put in the mixture of kimchi into the pan and give it a good mix.
- after the kimchi mixture is well mixed and heated, put in the rice and mix it well. ( bring it to high heat)
- once it is all well combined, make a hole in the middle and put a dash of soy sauce let it boil a bit and start mixing the whole thing together! ( taste test and if it seems like its missing something put more gochujang or soysauce before turning the heat off, if too salty put more rice in it)
- turn off the heat and put a round of sesame oil and mix it together.
- optional : put mozzerela cheese or fried egg on top!
- Tadaa!!! Its done~~~!!! enjoy 😉
