1 x 400gcan chickpeas
drained

1onion
small, finely diced

2garlic cloves
finely chopped

30mlolive oil

50goatmeal

2 tablespoonscornstarch

½ teaspooncumin
½ tsppaprika powder sweet

½ teaspooncoriander powder

½ teaspoonsalt

Pepper
to taste

0.5lemon
Zest of

2 tablespoonsbreadcrumbs
for shaping

for frying
tahini dip
For the lemon

3 tablespoonstahini
sesame paste

2 tablespoonslemon juice

1 teaspoonmaple syrup
or agave syrup

1garlic clove
small, pressed

2 tablespoonswater
as needed

Instructions
Step 1
Fry the onions and garlic until translutiant.
Crush the chickpeas into a chunky paste.
Add the spices and cornstarch. Mix well, add the lemon zest and hand form into balls. Pat into square shapes. Dip in the bread crumbs and fry until golden brown.
Make the dip. Service warm with the sauce and small salad.
