Sloppy Joes can feed a crowd, making it a perfect dish for potluck or cookout. Ladle the meat over toasted hamburger buns, and serve with a side of coleslaw and a slice of watermelon. This is one of those recipes where the leftovers are almost better. Tips for kids: my kids love when I grab some crescent rolls and cook them with the sloppy joe meat wrapped up inside super simple and a lot less mess for little hands.

Instructions

Put the ground beef in the slow cooker and break up the meat.

Add the onion, green bell pepper, ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, and garlic powder and stir to combine.
Step 3
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
