Marinade
1.5 lbschicken cubed

½ cupplain yogurt

1 ½ Tbsgarlic

1 Tbsginger

2 tspgaram masala

1 tspturmeric

1 tspground cumin

1 tspchili powder

1 tspsalt

2 Tbspolive oil
Sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Combine all marinade ingredients in a bag and let marinate from 1 hour to overnight.
Step 2
Cook marinated chicken in pan over medium high heat. Set aside when cooked.
Step 3
Heat butter in same pan. Cook onions until they start to sweat.
Step 4
Add garlic, ginger, coriander, cumin, and garam masala.
Step 5
Add tomato sauce, chili powder, salt, and sugar. Then let sauce simmer until it thickens.
Step 6
Return chicken to pan and cook until heated. Serve over rice.
