Instructions
Step 1

Half fill a med Saucepan with water and bring to the boil. Add the penne and half a tsp salt. Simmer 10 mins then drain rest and covered with lid

Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper. Put large Saucepan over med heat and melt approx 30g butter in it. Cook chicken in batches, 4 mins a side with lid on. Set aside on plate. Rest for 5 mins then cut into 1cm slices
Step 3
Boil liquid left in pot to reduce stock. Heat milk in microwave for 1 min. Add another 30g of butter to pot along with the garlic and simmer briefly. Lower heat to medium and add the flour, stir one min then switch to a Whisk.
