Instructions
Step 1
Fill a large pot most of the way with water, add two-thirds of the Salt and bring to rolling boil
Step 2
Add fettuccine to boiling water and boil for 8-10 minutes then drain
Step 3
Add butter, heavy cream, and garlic to a saucepan and heat over low heat until butter is melted
Step 4
Add romano and Parmesan cheese, turn heat to medium and whisk until cheese is melted and sauce has thickened
Step 5
Season to taste with salt and pepper
Step 6
Add drained fettuccine to sauce and mix until coated
